Posada El Antano was a lovely place to stay! The room was beautifully decorated with a cozy fireplace and stunning Guatemalan textiles. The daily breakfast was delicious, and what really stood out was the helpfulness of the staff, who always made sure we had enough coffee to start the day right.
The locked front door was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and I appreciated the friendly staff who made the experience enjoyable. However, the noise from the upstairs and early morning church bells made it difficult to sleep. While the breakfast was decent, the shower pressure could use improvement.

Great staff and delicious breakfast
We had a nice stay! The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast each morning was tasty and just what we needed to start the day. The place is in a great location, walking distance to local restaurants. Just wish our room had better maintenance. the shower leaked and the toilet was tricky to flush.

Charming stay with wonderful staff
The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail and located right in the heart of Antigua, making it easy to explore the area. The staff, especially Sheny, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay special with their warm service and efficiency. The breakfast options were delightful, including fresh local fruits and perfectly cooked eggs. One area for improvement would be to enhance the shower pressure and provide newer towels.

The cozy ambiance resonates with the charm of Guatemalan textiles in the decor. The King Suite features a lovely balcony perfect for enjoying the view, alongside a fireplace that adds a nice touch during cooler evenings.
The bathroom had an intermittent unpleasant smell likely coming from the drains, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the lack of screens on the balcony made it difficult to enjoy fresh air without worrying about mosquitoes, and the absence of air conditioning left the room feeling stuffy at times.
